About Mark

Mark Levers studied the Alexander Technique under Michael Stenning and Leonie John in Canberra. Graduated in 2024. Member of AUSTAT since 2025.

As a professional musician and sportsman, Mark found that pain was inhibiting his ability to perform. It had got to the point where Mark faced the prospect of having to give up his musicianship and sport because of pain.

Mark's journey with Alexander Technique taught him solutions which enabled him to return to his passions - performing even better than he had ever done in the past - all without experiencing pain.

There is a way forward that does not involve sacrificing hobbies, or passions, for health - both can be achieved.

Mark's gentle approach helped me to let go of tension in my back that I didn't even know I was holding on to!

So I came to Mark because for all my life I wasn't able to walk for long without my left ankle getting sore, in less than 10 minutes he taught me the Alexander Technique in such a calming and effective way that my soreness instantly disappeared and I was able to walk for 2 hours without pain!

Each person is standing in a relaxed posture with their hands behind their backs. The room has several yoga props including bolsters and blocks. Natural light is streaming in through the large window blinds on one side of the room.
